Below is a list of property searches and certificate request types that you can lodge online.

The cost displayed for each certificate type applies to each property requested.
Property Searches and Certificates
Logan City Council (LCC) is collecting your personal information, e.g. name, contact and credit card details to process your request. Your information will only be accessed by employees to contact you if required and will not be given to any person or agency unless you have given us permission or we are required by law.
The listed costs are for searching our records and are not refundable.

Requests will be processed within 10 business days unless stated. Response times may be longer during the Christmas/New Year period (days between 26 December and 1 January are not included as business days).
For Property Inspection Requests:
- If you are not the property owner, a signed owner’s consent with their name/s, address and phone number must be provided when lodging the search.
For Copies of Building Plans, please provide the relevant application/approval number or type of structure/s. Fee is per approval/structure.
For Copies of Specific Building Approval Documents, please provide the description of the documents you with to obtain. Fee is per document.
For Planning and Development Certificates the standard size is A3.  Extra cost/s (per page) apply for plans of size A0, A1, A2.  You will be contacted if additional costs apply.
Owner’s consent is required on lodgement for Copy of Building Envelope/s and Overlay Advice requests

• Ownership, real property description, area, unimproved capital value and rateable value
• Amount of rates and water charges levied, arrears, interest and discounts.
• Zoning, building envelopes and overlays (including flooding) applying to the property.
• Resumptions, realignments and conditions on property.
• A special water meter reading if applicable
Special water meter read $70.00 Information about unbilled water consumption at a property.
Trade waste details only - Non-residential $91.00 Search details of the amount of trade waste charges to be levied and arrears held in the trade waste system. Note: ‘trade waste’ means water-borne waste from business, trade or manufacturing premises, other than waste that is a prohibited substance, human waste or stormwater.
